Hospitals, medical facilities, care homes and home care

Run care well, and prove it, across every service you own.

Cura Vita is a care management software platform that aggregates, processes and simplifies all management and medical needs in one place. It is designed to create efficiencies for hospitals, medical facilities, care homes and home care providers. Staff record care as it happens. Managers see what needs doing today. Owners get audit reports that name the records that fall short. Everything is tracked, analysed and monitored from one easy to use main point.

Available now for care groups and home care providers. Hospitals and medical facilities in development.

How Cura Vita reads your records

Three rows from a demonstration care home's audit, October 2026. Every resident in it is fictional.

  1. MED-01Every dose that was due has an outcome recordedNICE SC1 Managing medicines in care homes1,071 of 1,075Standard: every doseNot met
  2. INC-01Every fall has a body map completedReg 12 Safe care and treatment1 of 2Standard: every fallNot met
  3. INC-02Every fall records whether it was witnessedReg 12 Safe care and treatment2 of 2Standard: every fallMet

The standard is every dose. Four had no outcome, so MED-01 is not met, and Cura Vita names each one, with the resident, the medicine and the time, and says what to do next.

CV-01 Who uses it

Three people need to trust the same record.

Family members want to know their loved ones are safe and had a good day. Managers want to know the services provided are running right, what is overdue, what has been done, before the end of the day. Owners want to know the business is being run efficiently and have evidence that holds up when CQC visits. Cura Vita gives each of these groups what they need to satisfy their requirements, from a single set of accurate records.

Families

Know how today went

Families of care home residents get their own sign-in, with everyday care notes (activities, outings, meals and drinks), visit requests and a way to message the team.

Managers

See what needs doing now

Overdue medicines, care plans due for review, visits running late and calls nobody answered, flagged on the screen you already have open.

Owners

Prove it, service by service

Every care home and home care branch under one sign-in, each with audit reports tied to the regulations inspectors use.

CV-02 Care homes Reg 9, Reg 12, Reg 17

One record for each resident, kept as care happens.

Everything about a resident sits on one page: who they are, what they need, what they take and what happened today. Staff record from a phone or tablet on the floor, not at the end of a shift.

Resident record
Care level, diagnoses, allergies and GP at the top, with care plans, medicines, wellbeing and family underneath.
Care plans
Plans by need, each with a level of need and a review date the audit checks.
eMAR
Rounds by time, one tap to record given, refused or withheld, with the reason.
Running the home
Rota, tasks, maintenance, incidents and enquiries for new admissions.

CV-03 Home care Reg 12, Reg 17, Reg 18

From a care package to a paid, invoiced visit.

Home care runs on hundreds of short visits across a patch. Cura Vita follows each one from the agreed package, through the carer's day, to the invoice and the payslip.

  1. Package

Record the client, their address and the package agreed with the funder: which days, what times, how long, and what to do.

  2. Schedule

Regular visits become a schedule. Unfilled visits, calls under 30 minutes, clashes and excluded carers are flagged before the week starts.

  3. Carer app

Carers see their run on their phone, check in and out with GPS, work through tasks, record medicines and write the visit note.

  4. Live board

The office sees late, missed, unanswered and cut-short visits as they happen, against rules each branch sets.

  5. Invoices and pay

Delivered visits feed invoices at each funder's rate and a payroll run that checks every carer against the minimum wage.

New Cura Vita On Call

Find a vetted, self-employed carer near you.

On Call introduces families to self-employed carers nearby. Families post what they need or browse carers; carers set their own rate and choose who they work for. It is an introduction service, not a home care agency.

For families
Post the days, times and help needed, browse carers nearby, agree the terms together and read a note after every visit. One bill a month.
For carers
Set your own rate, browse care posted near you and choose who you work for. Cura Vita's fee is added on top, so nothing is taken from your pay.
Vetting
Identity, right to work, an enhanced DBS, two references, insurance, the Care Certificate or equivalent, and an interview before anyone is listed.

CV-04 Hospitals and medical facilities In development

The same evidence standard, on every ward.

Hospitals and medical facilities are inspected by CQC against the same fundamental standards as care homes. Cura Vita is being extended to wards, clinics and medical facilities, and the core of the platform carries straight across.

Medicines
Rounds by time, an outcome for every dose, and missed or late doses flagged the same day.
Incidents and safeguarding
Falls, incidents and safeguarding concerns recorded on the person's record; flagged entries go to a manager or nurse, who records the outcome.
Staff checks and training
DBS, right to work, training and medicines competency with expiry dates, and supervisions and appraisals with the date each falls due.
Audit trail
Changes to residents, care plans, care notes and medicines kept with who made them and when.
What a hospital deployment adds
Clinical safety assurance, the NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit, and links to the hospital's patient record and pharmacy systems.

CV-05 Audit-grade reporting CQC Regs 9 to 20, NICE SC1

Every report is an audit. Failing records are named.

Cura Vita tests your own records against about 60 criteria, each tied to a CQC regulation, NICE medicines guidance, the Mental Capacity Act or employment law. You get the result, the records behind it and the action to take.

CV-06 Governance and onboarding Live

Paperwork that is signed where the care is.

Before a service goes live with real people, someone has to assess the risks and sign them off. Cura Vita brings those stages into the platform, so each sign-off is kept with the service it covers, and a service cannot be marked live until they are signed.

  1. Data protection impact assessment

    Live

A digital DPIA for the service, including how carer location is used, completed and signed by the people responsible.

  2. Clinical safety review

    Live

Clinical safety stages following the NHS DCB0129 and DCB0160 standards, signed off by the service's clinical safety officer before it goes live.

  3. Signed audits

    Next

Managers will sign audit reports inside the platform, with the signed copy kept alongside the audit history.

CV-08 Working with us

See it, scope it, go live.

Three steps from a first look to your teams using Cura Vita every day.

  1. See it

A demonstration of a care home and a home care branch on the live platform, with fictional residents and clients.

  2. Scope it

We agree which services come on, how your people and records are brought in, and how your team is trained.

  3. Go live

Your teams use it day to day, and your audits come from your own records from the first week.
